Workshop: “NTA: A Source of Integrity, A Bridge of Trust – Rethymno Regional Directorate”

The National Transparency Authority (NTA) is organizing on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Rethymno (Crete, Greece), an informative workshop titled: “National Transparency Authority: A Source of Integrity, A Bridge of Trust/ Rethymno Regional Directorate”.

The event is being held as part of the NTA’s initiative to highlight its role, mission, and multifaceted work throughout the country, with a focus on oversight, public accountability, and good governance.

This workshop is the first in a series of informational events that will be held in cities across the country where NTA operates Regional Directorates.

During the workshop, the following topics will be presented:

• the Authority’s responsibilities and actions
• statistical data on the investigation of complaints and reports handled by the Rethymno Regional Directorate
• specific case studies and practical examples of audits
• examples of collaboration with local entities

The aim of the workshop is to inform representatives of the public and private sectors, local communities, local government, and citizens about the role and mission of the National Transparency Authority.

This initiative is implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” funded by the European Union – NextGeneration EU.
