The National Transparency Authority (NTA) is organizing on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Thessaloniki (Northern Greece), an informative workshop titled: “National Transparency Authority: A Source of Integrity, A Bridge of Trust/ Thessaloniki Regional Directorate”.
The event is being held as part of the NTA’s initiative to highlight its role, mission, and multifaceted work throughout the country, with a focus on oversight, public accountability, and good governance.
The workshop is part of a series of informational events being held at the NTA Regional Directorates across the country.
During the workshop, the following topics will be presented:
- the Authority’s responsibilities and actions
- statistical data on the investigation of complaints and reports handled by the Thessaloniki Regional Directorate
- specific case studies and practical examples of audits
- examples of collaboration with local entities
In addition, during the event, best practices regarding integrity, accountability, and oversight in public administration will be highlighted, with the aim of informing local stakeholders and fostering a meaningful dialogue with local community, citizens and the local authorities of Thessaloniki.
This initiative is implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” funded by the European Union – NextGeneration EU.
