At the webinar organised by the National Transparency Authority on the occasion of the Safer Internet Day on "Online scams in the era of covid-19 and ways to deal with them", more than 280 professionals from public and private institutions had the opportunity to learn about the forms of online fraud and to hear practical ways to prevent and protect against them. According to the data presented, the increase in online fraud in the midst of a pandemic is striking, with consumers appearing poorly informed about how to protect themselves and where to report it.
