At the invitation of the organisers, the NTA Interim Governor was among the keynote speakers in the session "Contemporary Challenges in Fighting Corruption". In her presentation, Ms. Alexandra Rogakou analysed the contemporary challenges faced by anti-corruption authorities, focusing on the pivotal role of new technologies such as AI and data analytics in effectively tackling the phenomenon, while highlighting the added value of transnational cooperation as a means of enhancing operational capacity at the national level through the dissemination of good practices and transfer of know-how. The NTA delegates held bilateral meetings with representatives of counterparts from Italy, Brazil, Brazil, the Philippines, Australia and Singapore as well as with the representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

In the margins of the symposium, a two-day working visit to Changsha, Mainland China, was held to exchange know-how and good practices with counterpart authorities.
