Inspectors and auditors from the National Transparency Authority (NTA), along with executives of the Hellenic Policy, imposed fines on a wellness - aesthetics business and an artificial tanning salon (solarium) in the Municipality of Alimos and the Municipality of Pylaia-Hortiatis, respectively, for non-compliance with the rules of suspension of operation.
Specifically:
- Municipality of Alimos: wellness-aesthetics business
A fine of €10,000 has been imposed on a wellness - aesthetics company for not complying with suspension of operations rules. During the inspection, it was discovered that three individuals were inside the business, two of whom were hiding in the toilet. Each person was fined €300 (3x€300) for not carrying a movement certificate.
- Municipality of Pylaia-Chortiatis: solarium salon
A fine of 5,000 euros was imposed on the company for operating in violation of the suspension of operation rules and a fine of 3,000 euros was imposed on the person in charge of the company for the same violation. In addition, it was found that this company provided the above services even though its license was for hairdressing services.
