The three-day (11-13 July 2023) OECD working group visit to Athens, which took place at the NTA central building, was successfully completed. The working visit is part of the implementation of the Act "Strengthening the Framework for Integrity, Transparency and Anti-Corruption", which concerns the mapping of the existing institutional and regulatory framework, as well as the development of proposals and practical tools to regulate conflicts of interest and enhance the integrity of public officials and officials.
During the visit, interviews were conducted with 31 high-level executives of 12 public and private sector entities, as well as representatives of Civil Society, who had the opportunity to present and analyse the existing framework for the prevention and management of conflict of interest situations and to provide their views on possible improvements in institutional and operational interventions.
The Action "Strengthening the Framework for Integrity, Transparency and Anti-Corruption" is co-funded by the EEA Grants Programme "Good Governance, Institutions, Transparency" (EEA Financial Mechanism), representing the contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway to a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
