The National Transparency Authority (NTA) participated in the 5th Meeting of the OECD Working Party on Public Integrity and Anti-Corruption, as well as in the meeting of the Public Integrity Indicators Task Force, held in Paris on 13–15 October 2026.
The discussions focused on strengthening national public integrity systems, monitoring and evaluating anti-corruption strategies, leveraging data and emerging technologies to identify and manage corruption risks, and reviewing progress in the development of the OECD Public Integrity Indicators.
Particular emphasis was placed on sharing Greece’s experience in designing, monitoring and evaluating the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan (NACAP). In this context, the NTA highlighted the importance of a clear and coherent structure for the Action Plan, extensive consultation with relevant stakeholders, and the establishment of a comprehensive governance framework, supported by standardised procedures, tools and reporting templates.
The NTA’s participation in the OECD meetings provided a valuable opportunity to showcase Greek initiatives and reforms in the field of public integrity, exchange expertise and good practices with counterpart authorities, and explore new opportunities for international cooperation.
