The National Transparency Authority, in the framework of its control responsibilities and to ensure the implementation of the anti-smoking legislation regarding the total ban on smoking in public places and all workplaces, launches the Website 1142.aead.gr and at the same time activates the Call Center 1142, where citizens can submit complaints about violations of the anti-smoking legislation.
The Call Center is open every day from Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 15:00, while the Website 1142.aead.gr allows the submission of complaints free of charge, 24/7. The National Transparency Authority cooperates with the Hellenic Police, the Municipal Police, the Port Authorities, the Health Services, the Regions and Municipalities of the country, and also carries out its own inspections, during which it makes recommendations or imposes disciplinary sanctions.
