A Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) was signed on Monday 13.02.2023 by the NTA Interim Governor, Ms Alexandra Rogkakou and the Chair of the Hellenic Educational Policy Institute, Mr Ioannis Antoniou.

The two institutions are laying the foundations for a multi-level cooperation aimed at implementing actions in the following areas:

Internal Audit Axis: Provision of methodological tools/ documents, Advisory support on Internal Audit System and operation of the Internal Audit Unit.

Integrity Axis: Strengthening integrity mechanisms, cooperation on fighting against corruption and integrity risk management.

Education - Awareness Axis: Implementation of educational and awareness-raising actions on ethics and integrity, internal control and corruption and fraud risks management and development of actions to raise awareness among the educational community (students, teachers etc) on issues of integrity, transparency and accountability.

The two institutions will cooperate in good faith, in a spirit of trust, respecting business ethics and sharing necessary information. They shall cooperate in good faith, in a spirit of trust, respecting commercial morality and exchanging the necessary information.

The NTA Interim Governor, Ms. Alexandra Rogkakou noted that “it is with great pleasure that we have today proceeded with the conclusion of an agreement that initiates the development and implementation of joint actions and programs, with the aim of strengthening the Internal Audit System procedures that will cover all the functions of the Hellenic Educational Policy Institute. A cooperation that will have multiple benefits, and will contribute to further strengthening citizens’ trust in institutions”.

The Chair of the Hellenic Educational Policy Institute, Mr. Ioannis Antoniou said that “we are particularly pleased to sign the MoC with the NTA. We believe that our commitment to the values of transparency and ethical integrity is strengthened through this cooperation and the development of joint actions with the NTA”.
