A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed on Monday 27.06.2022, by the President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Ms. Vasiliki Lazarakou and the Governor of the National Transparency Authority (ΝΤΑ), Mr. Angelos Binis. The subject of the memorandum is the cooperation of the two entities on a number of issues including their cooperation on the issues of the internal audit system, risk management and integrity mechanisms of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission. In particular, the two institutions will focus their cooperation, inter alia, on the training of staff of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission in risk management methodology, the formulation of policies and actions for the prevention of corruption and the development of the Internal Audit function.
The President of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission, Ms. Vasiliki Lazarakou, noted that "The Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Transparency Authority marks the beginning of the partnership between the two Authorities on a number of issues related to internal audit, risk management, integrity issues and the training of Hellenic Capital Market Commission executives, aiming, among other things, at a more effective management of these issues, which ultimately contributes to the strengthening of the Greek market, since the aim of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission is also to promote transparency, transparency and transparency. This is a very important cooperation, which lays the foundations for targeted actions around issues of common competence".
The Governor of the NTA, Mr. Angelos Binis, stated that "We are joining forces with one of the most important institutions in our country for economic growth and job creation.
