A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Management Organisation Unit of Development Programmes (MOU S.A.), represented by the Chairman of the BoD, Mr. Vassilios Siadimas, and the National Transparency Authority (NTA), represented by the Interim Governor, Ms. Alexandra Rogakou.
The signing of the Memorandum was also attended by Mr. Ioannis Agapitidis, Deputy General Manager and Mr. Gerasimos Voutsinas, Director of the Internal Audit Department of MOU S.A. and the Head of NTA’s General Directorate for Integrity and Accountability, Ms. Maria Konstantinidou and the Deputy Director for Political and Accountability Standards, Ms. Ioanna Lambraki.
With this Memorandum, the MOU S.A. and the NTA have laid the foundations for a multi-level cooperation through the mutual exchange and use of know-how and experience, thus initiating the design and implementation of policies and joint actions, in particular on issues related to internal audit, strengthening integrity mechanisms and institutions, fraud and corruption risk management, protection of the financial interests of the European Union, as well as awareness raising actions related to these issues. The Chairman of the MOU S.A. BoD Mr. Vassilios Siadimas, and the NTA Interim Governor Ms. Alexandra Rogakou, agreed to cooperate, within the framework of their respective responsibilities, in the design and implementation of joint actions and programmes aimed at strengthening internal audit procedures.
