With the participation of 1,975 students from all over the country and 1,184 works in total, the submission of the art works nominated for awards in the 2nd Panhellenic Student Competition on the theme: "NO to violence, YES to friendship. BLOCK bullying" organized (for the school year 2022-2023) by the NTA in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Religious Affairs, the National Commission for Human Rights, the Library of Hellenic Parliament and the Educational Television.

The competition was addressed to students of Primary and Secondary Education schools in Greece and Greek schools abroad. A total of 176 schools from all over the country were represented, while it is worth noting that 70% of the entries came from schools in the Region. The students had the opportunity to express themselves through creative ways (e.g. painting, collage, poster, video, etc.) and to reflect in an original way the values of respect, justice, integrity and solidarity. The aim of the competition was to inform and raise awareness among children about bullying, domestic violence, diversity, human rights, respect, trust, truth and integrity.

The next stage of the competition concerns the evaluation of the children's works and will be carried out by a Special Committee with the participation of representatives from all the institutions that collaborated for its implementation.

The winners of primary schools will receive innovative educational material that has been created specifically for this action by NTA in collaboration with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) with the approval of the Institute of Educational Policy, while the winners of secondary schools will receive lap tops as a gift.

All the students’ art works will be the material of an art exhibition organised by the ΝΤΑ, while the distinguished art works will be presented at a special event organised by the NTA. This action is part of a series of educational initiatives implemented by the Authority to raise awareness and inform students, the citizens of tomorrow, on issues of transparency, integrity and accountability, with the aim of gradually fostering in children a culture of no tolerance towards corruption. Finally, it is recalled that this Competition is a continuation of the very successful organization of the 1st Student Competition held by the NTA during the school year 2020 - 2021.
